Someday ago I was watching a program called "Baghdad E.R."
There the showed many young people from the military being hurt and killed. Some with their harm amputated or legs. When one of them died, they were praying. I said to myself, these people believe in God.

Those soldiers are the ones who fight for all of you, atheists and religious. I see atheists saying that religious are "fools" and are "brainwashed." How in you sane mind can you catalog your soldiers as "fool"?

When they are in problems, they pray, because they believe in a God. The are fighting while you are sitting in the front of your computer. You should think twice before offending people.
You accept it or not, religious people are moving this country. The majority, a big majority of people believe in some type of god. They pay taxes the way you do, they work the was you do, or you don't do, they study the way you do.

If you don't believe, just open your mind and shut you mouth.

You ended your diatribe with a splash or arrogant self righteousness.

I defy you to look through my answer to past R & S questions and find one instance where I called someone who believed in God an idiot or brainwashed simply because they did believed in God.

Argument from Popularity (formally, argumentum ad populam) is an informal logical fallacy where an individual claims that a proposition is true because it is or has been widely believed. In its most general form, the argument is generally presented as follows.

1. P is believed by millions of people worldwide
2. Therefore, P

It is a fallacy because millions or billions of people can still believe in something that is wrong.
[edit] Examples

There are two closely related forms of the argument from popularity.

Example 1:

Antagonist: "Millions of people worldwide believe in fairies. Obviously, fairies do exist!"

Example 2:

Antagonist: "People have believed in fairies for thousands of years. Obviously, fairies do exist!"

In either case, the mere fact that people have believed in something (even for a long time) does not make it true; people can be deceived. Part of the scientific process, or scholarship more broadly, is to find out things that we previously believed to be true that are not.

Very well said, except you shouldn't generalize like that. Not all Atheists are disrespectful and rude by saying we are brainwashed. I've met many Atheists who are very polite and friendly. But there's more than enough of them that aren't.

I don't care which of the 10,000+ Gods you believe in, as long as you live a lifestyle that doesn't harm others, more power to you.
