I got my hair permed 24 hours ago & it's still too curly. I understand that a perm relaxes by 20-30% after the first 2 weeks, but it will still be too curly. What can I do to weaken the curl more quickly? Can a salon reverse or loosen the perm?

By having a salon do a reverse pern on you. Basically using perm solution and combing the curl out. And because your hair is permed, a solution for color treated hair should be strong enough. and putting a reconstructor on and processing over the conditioner the conditioner adds a protective barrier and the result is shiny softer hair. Then using a glosser to seal the shine in.

The hairdresser can put a relaxer in it may be costly ......
My sister has been getting perms for yrs the next day it's the same story to curly she just puts another perm in & combs it through without curlers until it's straight ......I'm not saying it will work for you or to try it I'm just telling you what she does .....
