When did that happen and is it like that in every state??

Albertson's has been bought out by Save Mart inc. A few of the stores, mostly in California will be renamed as Lucky Supermarkets, The reason for this is luckys so so well known they want to bring the name back.

It's not like that in every state. The Albertson's by my house closed but there are still a few with in about 45 miles of my house.

Our 2 Albertsons in this city (Napa, CA) are changing over to be Lucky stores. It's going to officially happen later this month. I can't speak for anywhere else though.

I'm in Texas and they are still albertsons here
