first off, for those who didn't see my last question:
my pup is 5 months old, normally very hyper. since friday he's been vomitting and having diarhea. no blood in either one (yet). he won't eat or drink. i get him to drink a little here and there and eat ice cubes. he's lethargic and won't get up ad move around. i have to literally pick him up to make him move around.

the on call ER vet told me to feed him white rice and boiled chicken. if hes not better tomorrow, take him to your vet.

well..Duke will NOT eat either or. i even put the pieces in his mouth, he spit it out. he vomitted (for the 3rd time today) again. its teh same runny stuff he's been vomitting. i told the vet his gums are a pale pink. he told me as long as they aren't blood red or blue he'll be okay.

i think this vet is a total f*!@^ what the hell do i do now!? are their animal hospitals u can just take ur animal into without talking to that flucking same vet again!?!?!?!?

call another vet asap. they have to have 24 hour emergency centres near you, call them and take your dog in. the pale gums and being lethargic is a very bad sign in my opinion. Please at least call another vet.

Just call another vet, even if it means a long drive. If the dog's gums are pale.that is either a sign of blood loss or shock, and he needs to be seen by a vet asap.

will your dog eat some peanut butter off your finger??? ; then leave the water dish by him ; he can become dehyrated; find another animal hospital and call them ; there are ER vet hospitals so yes; find one and go

Could also be Parvo.......Or he ate something and is obstructed......still, call a different vet. Dane puppies at this age can crash and burn very quickly.

Let us know how he does.
