So...he over rev'd his engine HUH? Said so himself!
He is just like his dad...modest. Dale Sr. could dish it out to other drivers on the track but never complained when they paid him back. Probably the best nascar driver ever (with the possible exception of the "King" Richard Petty.) You never heard him whining about anything and Dale Jr. isn't a whiner either. I am not surprised that he blamed himself for a mechanical failure after running so well up front. Sounds like politics with Theresa and a dose of modesty to me.
This is why Jr is leaving DEI. He needs an owner who will put a car underneath him that will stand up to his talents. I think the Hendricks operation will do just that. I also think that Rick Hendricks has a way of "coaching" young and very talented drivers. It is a perfect match-up.
Soon, I will be able to say "I told you so"

unquestionably he could bypass away, DEI is not any a similar corporation his father outfitted with Theresa Earnhardt on the helm. Jr is the main customary motive force in Nascar and the followers prefer to make sure him run better on a persevering with foundation, win races, and win championships and regrettably that purely wont ensue with DEI. Theresa looks rather happy with Jr as lengthy as he sells alot of shirts and hats and places income her wallet. She does not seem to care too lots on the subject of the ingredient of racing that particularly concerns and that's to win. Jr could actual seem someplace else for somebody who will take his profession to new heights rather of dropping time at a diminishing racing good.

He over revved the engine and blew it himself, even admitted as much. Truex and Menard don't have engine problems so the conspiracy theories are shot full of holes. Dale is too hard on his equipment like his daddy was in his younger years. If Hendrick can straighten him out like Richard Childress did for his dad, he might actually win some more races. Otherwise he is doomed to be the new Kyle Petty, winning a handfull of races and living off his dad's last name.

Well, lets just add a little conspiracy theory to all the mello drama. This stuff is great.
I was shocked to hear Tony Eury (sp?) say "" well if we make the chase we make it and if we dont we dont"". Does that sound gun-ho to you. Jr. isnt my favorite but you got me thinking!
They better be careful I don't think Jr. will take too much crap from anyone. He's one of us good ole boys ya know.

He had problems before that though. I think it is ironic that Jr finshed the race at TMS in #5 car after Kyle Bush stormed off and then a few months later he signs to drive it for next year.

I noticed that today. Yoko .. uh uh, I mean Teresa probably gave the order to give JR the crappy stuff, and to give Truex (the new young face of DEI) the good stuff.
Lets compare results ...

I think it's just one of those things that tells you that DEI isn't the place for you. Maybe it once was for him, but now his time is up. I think he's going to have a hard time til the end of the season, but next year he will have a fresh clean start with HMS.

Ever since he announced, DEI has changed drastically, probably seeing backlash from it.

I was asking that same question last week to my dad. I can't wait for Jr. to get out of DEI. He deserves better then his evil stepmom anyways.

After parking his car today Jr. admitted that he had probably caused the failure himself, by accidentally overrevving the engine during practice. Not sure how that fits into conspiracy theories.
