how do you feel about giving a child 9& 10 yrs. a multi vitamin?

I have a boy he'll be seven next month. I have been giving him multi vitamins since he was around five. His pediatrician recomends giving them also because kids as well as adults don't always get enough of the right foods. It can never hurt! and they're are so many differnt kinds on the market that I take my son to the store and let him pick out what kind he might want. My son goes from Scooby Doo to Spongebob...lol You just can't go wrong! :)

I just heard this hour long spill from my mother about giving children multi vitamins she gave her kids multi vitamins from the time they started walking and they are currently taking them now at the ages of 14-17. if your not sure ask your family doctor.

I have a 6 & 3 yr old and I give them the Scooby Doo gummy ones.
I started giving it to them at 2 yrs old.
I asked the Dr and he said there is no harm in it at all

I think it is wonderful!... sometimes kids that age don't eat enough veggies and fruit, many (like my 9 yr old) are picky eaters and might not be getting enough vitamins and minerals from their diet.

there is not enough of any one vitamin in those to actually do anything. studies have shown how usless multivitamins are. You would be better off getting your children to eat a healthy well balanced diet

can't hurt. My grandkids take them. They love the gummy bear ones.
