He had his head down to avoid showing tears to the camera since he screwed up his own chances of winning. But the tears didn't prevent him from whining and trying to get pity and be felt sorry for by Nascar Nation.

Is Jeff Gordon the best driver in Nascar? NO. If he was so good, then why did he lose it on that turn? Just goes to show he's not everything Gordon fans thinks he is.

And I suppose you never make any mistakes, huh?

If Jeff isn't the best current driver in Nascar, I'd love to know who you think is....that ought to be good.

He was disappointed with himself, he knew he messed up. Funny though, I didn't hear him blaming anyone else but himself, unlike other drivers who can't own up to their own screwups
;)

Right on Charlie

At first I thought he was, but then I realized he was just sweating really badly and that he was really disappointed. You could see it on his face that he was no happy at all. Give the guy some slack. He is not perfect. Everybody makes mistakes and today's race was a very good example of that.

nascarfan31- He had just climbed out of his car after spinning out. He was too upset to talk to reporters or get interviewed. He needed some time to think about what happened and he needed some time to cool down and relax. He was tired and upset.

The rear brakes locked up on his car of course he will spin out the winner of the race also spun out, Jeff was just trying to win the race because he has the greatest fans in NASCAR and didn't want to let them down so he gave more then he had and unfourtley he couldn't hold it, nobody can hold a car when the brakes lock up Tony was comming and he had a big enough points lead so he though hell ill just take a risk ill lose nothing, and sure Jeff was disapointed but he wasnt crying all humans get like that after a huge disapointment not to mention he was very tired as well

He wasnt crying, he was pissed off thats for sure, and of course the fact that if the chase started tomorrow he would have to deal with Stewart being ten points behind, and Johnson tied with him, I am sure that weighed heavily on his mind.

Gordon knows that the more races he wins, the bigger his points lead can be when the chase starts, I would be a little upset if I had blown it during a race and gave a contender 10 extra points for when the chase begins.

NASCAR has been crowning a Champion because of the fact 1948 and an excellent sort of, many hundreds of drivers have competed for the identify. many of the suitable drivers to ever compete under no circumstances gained a Championship and thanks to repeat winners, approximately 30 drivers own a Championship from fifty 9 finished seasons of racing. permit's placed it this way, if David Pearson had raced finished time in the time of his profession, what number might he have gained? Hmm, he competed for 4 Titles and gained 3. that's fullyyt achievable that if Pearson had run finished time in the time of his profession, 7 Championships might seem rather a paltry objective. I nonetheless am a Pearson fan and that i pulled for him even throughout the time of the years he had no risk to win the identify because of the constrained time table he ran. Pearson started 574 races (9th basic) and gained one hundred and five (2nd basic) for a prevailing share of 18.29% or a colour below a million in each and every 5 races he ran, he gained. His sort of 2nd place finishes is likewise outstanding as is his basic suited 5's. If NASCAR followers in straight forward terms cared approximately drivers who gained Championships, the stands could be almost empty. If a motive force we pull for actually wins a identify, that's basically the icing on the cake of excitement and exciting they weekly upload to our lives. maximum persons understand that if our motive force or drivers survives the race, competes not basic and overcomes adversity to get the suitable end available, that's all we choose. i'm a Junior fan, and he might or might never win yet another race. does not remember to me because of the fact at extra than a number of races he can end earlier than Johnson or Gordon and those factors might desire to deny the two a Championship. purely as Pearson fee Petty some Championships. Ahh, life is sweet. i grew to become into additionally Senior fan and an excellent sort of folk have self belief that if he had not been killed in 2001, he might have gained his 8th identify that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. He almost had it in 2000. He grew to become into primed and he needed it undesirable. yet lower back, basically icing, as he grew to become into exciting to visual show unit in spite of if he grew to become into competing for a suited 20.

This race obviously had some importance to the guy. So he was a little emotional. Not every guy out there is this "Oh, I'm a man so I'm not going to show any emotion" kind of guy. I hate how some guys think that's what they're supposed to be like. Emotions are what make us human.

Every driver makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect. Leave the guy alone. Sheesh.

No, he was obviously disappointed. My husband and I are not Gordon fans because we have always thought that he whined too much or blamed someone else. We were both impressed with todays interview because he took full responsibility for the loss. You must have seen a different interview than we did.

Funny thing about your statement is,the very guy who battled Gordon so hard today and eventually did win the race, spun out the very same way.So losing it in that turn must not have been that hard to do and between the two guys that did spin, they own the road courses. But thank you for your uninformed and idiotic statement.Btw you didnt mention whom you root for, wonder why?
