Why does the border patrol deport and send my family and friends back to Mexico, when they dont even bring in any drugs or sh!t like that? Ive had friends and family that have lived here in the U.S. before without their papers, never did ANYTHING wrong. In fact, they would volunteer at shelters and nurseries in their spare time. They went back to Mexico because their parents were dying and their brother was going to be buried over there, which was all they had left of family over there. They came back on feet, crossed the river, almost made it but they got caught. Border patrol just sent them right back to where they had nothing. Why are my mexican kin and friends not allowed back in the U.S. if they havent even done anything bad?

So far Ive gotten 8 answers. Thanks to some of you 8. Sh!t, cant some of you answer a question with a little more decency though?! "they can Volunteer all they want, but unless they come legally they should be sent back home." You say it like they were trying to kiss @ss. They didnt volunteer to see if the border patrol would cut em some slack, border patrol wouldnt even care to check if they volunteered, they just did that because they were good people, not ignorant, racist $hits like you. You dont know what being in a desert for 6 days does to you! It ruins you! So just keep quiet, please!......"They cost the U.S. millions.......hmmmm" Sarcastic responses!? I didnt ask for that! "They were breaking the law......" Am i not practically asking WHY its a law to deport people to come here for a better life?! I know its a law, but why? Well, ive got 2 good answers, thanks. But seriously, please just answer questions from now on, a little more decently. Thanks.

I understand the situation, I was a border patrol agent. and I know what you are saying 100%, most of you guys are really good, honest, hard working people but there are laws and borders, we welcome you if you come here legally.
that's the way things are in any country... for example in Costa Rica immigration deported over 5,000 Americans to the U.S......
we all have to obbey the law and if someone wants to stay in a country do it LEGALLY.

You were driving close to the border and those checkpoints are precisely there because of the proximity with Mexico. I have gone through the same points so many times and they have never harassed me, on the contrary, they've been very respectful. The questions they ask are part of their job and you should cooperate without reservation. How do you think they're going to find out if you are a citizen or not if they don't stop you. Just by your looks? That would be racism. They have to stop everyone so deal with it. Having military stickers won't give you VIP treatment. If that were the case, don't you think many illegals would be driving their cars full of military stickers to pass through the border patrol. Come on! I'm sure you're smarter than that.

Sorry to say, but, quite simply they broke US law by entering into our country, and they can get deported for that. The US is in a very interesting situation right now, because there are estimated to be over 12 million people in the US ilegally. Most of these illegal aliens have stolen social security numbers from honest Americans. Most illegal aliens would be foolish not to come to the US, but because they are undocumented they could be anyone, including the possibility of terrorists (as the people from Fort Dix were), or parts of Drug Cartels and drug dealers who are rampant near the border, making millions of dollars. In my opinion, I believe, sorry again, the US has to secure its borders first, and then grant everyone in the US amnesty, but the border has to be secured, especially while there is a looming terrorist threat. I am very sorry to hear that your family and friends were sent back to Mexico, especially if they were honest, hardworking people. But, laws do have to be followed.

Actually, how bad is the Mexican system, and why are so many fleeing to the US? I have heard of the corruption in Mexico but have never researched it. I want some insight into why people are fleeing Mexico, thanks, if you have some information for me.

They are not supposed to be here to begin with. The last time I checked it was illegal. They can volunteer all they want to but until they come here legally they should be sent home. By the way, breaking the law is doing something wrong!
