I am 13 years old right now. What are some ways I can gain at least 20 lbs. in a year or even less? Any food suggestions, or things I should do to gain weight would be helpful.

Fast food, except that's not healthy, and you'll gain weight but you won't be healthy. Eat more hearty foods like meats, potatoes. Delicious home made meals and enjoy every bite!
You could also increase your caloric intake to a slightly higher amount.

Want to gain weight? Go on a high protein diet for a bout 3 months. Then start eating carbs again. you'll blow up like a puffer fish. Then you can start battling your weight for the rest of your life. (See? this what happens when kids have unsupervised access to a computer. Where are your parents in this?). Seriously you're wayyyy too young to be thinking about this nonsense. In a year you will have probably gained 20 pounds naturally. Who put these thoughts into your impressionable young mind?

Been trying to gain weight too. Started working out for about two months now. I gain about 20lb so far. Try eating 3 times day. With a good snack between each meal. Protein shake are always good.

You are a teenager. Many teens are very thin, but they put on weight automatically as they grow older. This is because teenagers have a very high metabolic rate and burn calories fast. So,you should not try to put on weight by eating fatty food, since it will be difficult to lose this fat later.I found this information at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

You should talk to your doctor. They will tell you if you need the weight or not. Alot of teenagers go through "growth spurts" and are underweight for a while and as soon as it is over they put weight on.

Well most 13 year olds don't have this problem. You could drink malts, eat more cheese and peanut butter...that might help. And maybe you need to exercise just to get in shape better.
