He should be taken to his Pediatricians office ASAP.Any internal bleeding,no matter how minute needs to be addressed NOW.

This child needs to be taken to his/her pediatrician. This child may have a ruptured bowel/blockage or something like that. I would worry if it were my child.

im certainly not a doctor..but my son had this...it was caused by a fissure..which is a small tear in the anus..it causes bleeding because of dry hard stools as in constipation..or it could be hemroids...celiacs or chrohns..hope this help..i can imagine the worry..wish your friends boy a speedy recovery

YES...i would definately get that looked into...could be a sign of sexual abuse, etc.........if the blood is bright red, it is fresh......abuse, intestinal tear, hemherroid, but if it is dark it is bad.......is an internal bleed......goto the dr
