In the two verse's that you are referring to, sin is something that is practiced with the knowledge that what you are doing is wrong. This "practicing" kind of sin shows total disregard for God's laws. I am not saying that if you fall from grace and do something bad you are mocking God, but if you continue doing it and even flaunting it then you will be mocking God. However there is a type of sin that goes deeper. That is the sin we are born into. You see, a new born is a sinner, not because he has done some evil act but because he was born into sin. Death entered the world through sin
(Romans 5:12). Even if a child was born and never sinned, that child would still die one day. Why? Because death is the curse put on mankind when Adam sinned (Genesis 2:16-17) (Romans 6:23) (again Romans 5:12). Have a good day.
