I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but my personal favorite is I don't give a flying fig. Or I've been known to quote Pooh Bear "Oh bother" lol. Both of these usually get my kids attention and we all laugh which usually defuses the situation.

"Old Fish"

My two year old found a bag of goldfish in the car (the crackers) and wanted to eat them. I told him "no, those are old"

So he sat in the car talking about his "Old Fish"...which sounded A LOT more like "OH S---T" in the way he says it.

So now instead of that, I've been saying "Old Fish"

I have a problem with cursing sometimes and it shocked my boss. So one of my co-workers suggested "firetruck" and now whenever I want to swear that's what I say.

are you looking for things to say to insult or are you looking for descriptive words or abrubtive words irruptive.

I like wooky frenzle kinip fracking farking karpookin my self or any other variant to a made up hum dining snap crackle pop ensemble.

I think its great that you are trying to improve your ability to be evocative in speech, its certainly something worthy of a personal coronation.

My grandmother said a bad word in front of my daughter(age 8). My daughter said, "Meme, that's not an ok word to say, why not say 'Pickle' instead?" I don't know where she got 'Pickle' from, but it seems to work!

Uhhhh... How about speak what you want to say?? Instead of cursing, don't say anything at all... or, something simple, and safe "oh man..." or "stupid."
