I have copied the Bible three times with ball-point pen and loose-leaf paper, and as I was doing so, I know I felt there were some I didn't like as much as others, but when that happened, I checked myself / my opinion, and kept a very open heart and soul, realizing that just because I didn't find it poetic enough, or thrilling enough, or revealing enough, the value of the book was not lessened. It just required that I work harder to understand what possible meaning it could have, even if on a different level than I was prepared for, and that I may never fully "understand" that particular book, but that never lessened it's value since I was not the One who wrote it, and the One who chose what to say and not to say. I have thus found that every book, every chapter and every verse is extremely important, even if I never understand why. God Bless you.

The book of John. I guess it is a book, or maybe a chapter, I do not know. But, John was such a loyal deciple of Jesus. He said by faith are you saved. So many people think that just because they go to church, they are saved, but if you do not have faith and live it each day, you are only kidding yourself.

Matthew 25.
It consists of three very deep parables: the parable of the 10 virgins, the parable of the talents & the parable of the sheep and goats, all very noteworthy lessons for life from Jesus.
book: Psalms, its the longest book in the Bible, pretty straightforward, easy to understand, and relate to in life.

Romans 9 is my favorite chapter in the Bible because it is the clearest exposition of the sovereignty of God.

Revelation 21. It tells about a new Heaven, and a new Earth. It tells of God the Father comming down with His Kingdom, to be with His people for ever.

The book of Ruth. I always thought it was the most beautiful love story. A verse from Ruth was on our wedding invitations. =-) (sorry, I misread the question. But Ruth is a short book.)

I like John 14. It is inspirational and comforting. We have great hope in our LORD's promises. God bless.
John14: 1 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4 “And you know the way where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Romans.
In a lot of ways the USA is like Rome. I think the Gospel is most clearly summed up in Romans!
