Hi,
I will be a student in NYC, and I need somewhere to park my car for the 15-31 August, so that's 16 days. I found some information here: http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/path/html/harrison.html
However, does anybody from the area know, will any/most of the places allow me to park my car for 16 days or is it only a daily/monthly thing? I'm just looking for the cheapest options. There's metropark, NJ but that's farther away. Those 3 dollar garages look pretty good.
Lastly, would this be a safe area to leave the car and to walk around in? Thanks

If you park your car at either of those places you'll have to go back daily. You may want to check long term parking at Newark Airport. You can take NJ transit there and its a more secured lot. Especially when parking for 15 days. ALthough it will probably be more expensive.

harrison has the path station with lots of parking.
now it is off of 280 or you have to access in newark through the iron bound.
you mentioned metro park
with the price of gas and the hassle of driving in newark and harrison, may be cheaper to stay at metropark and get the njt train to you location.
