If by "stand" you are referring to a method so that they can stand upright when placed on a horizontal surface then YES they come with a stand.

My Bravia did and its 40". It was installed already so we just took it out of the box and set it on our TV furniture.

The Sharp that we first bought was 36"? and I had to attached the stand but it did come with it.

Probably best to ask the salesman or check the web site or the box to be sure.

You unfortunately have to buy them. They are usually generally priced, and they look great with the tv.
