Unless some new rules and regulations....as well as laws are passed concerning draftees, then they will receive the same pay as those who volunteered. This also includes special pay for various operations and so forth. Draftees can even receive bonus money IF they reenlist, and the job field or MOS they hold has a bonus available. There are the medical and dental benefits, as well as educational benefits that are available as well.

No, the military is just like any other government agency. They have a pay scale based on your rank. The people who fall into your rank all get the same pay. I mean being an enlisted person does not pay a whole lot usually. The good think is that if you do not have a family it is for the most part disposable income. I mean the military pays for your housing, medical, and things like that. So you only need to buy personal items. Once you go up in rank the more you will get paid. So no draftees do not make less than any other solder in the same rank and qualifications. The only thing different in it is that they tell you, you are going to serve, not ask you if you would like to.

Its a Good Question, the current Base Pay for an E-1 Private in the US Army is $1,302.00 per Month.
If there are 300,000 Draftees, that makes those 300,000 Privates pay come to $36,090,000,000 per month alone.
What happens in 6 months time when they all become E-2 Privates, E-3 PFC's, E-4 Specialists, Get Married, etc?
Something no ones thought about who advocates the Draft.
Lets not even go into the Logistics of the Draft, like where are we to find the magical numbers os support staff, Drill Sergeants, Training Resources, Basing for them.

Everyone gets paid the same in the military, the bonuses will go away because there will be no need. Most of the people who join the military do not do so because of the bonuses. Don't worry about a draft unless the sh** hits the fan and the military has to increase by 10s of thousands now. Hopefully there will be a surge of patriotism in this country (except Hollywood) and people will join voluntarily. Imagine how much good PR Lindsay Lohan could get for joining up.

They would get the same pay and benefits as volunteers, but there may be differences in terms of bonuses. Volunteers may get higher reup bonuses than conscripts, but as for the basic stuff, like pay, mecidal/dental, BAQ*/BAS** and the like will remain the same.
To add to Sean G's response; the added resources needed to train and house all the additional draftees would mean that bases that were closed down under the BRAC (Base Closing & Realignment) during the Clinton Administration would have to be reopened and rehabilitated to train new soldiers.
Bases like Ft. McClellan in Alabama, Ft. Devens in Massachussets, Ft. Ord in California and even smaller Reserve and National Guard bases like Ft. Buchannan in Puerto Rico and Camp Blanding in Stark, FL would have to be realigned into the TRADOC and most likely expanded to house training operations.
All this equals in Billions of additional dollars put into the defense budget, along with an inmediate overhaul of all current training bases like Ft. Jackson in SC, Ft. Benning in Ga. Ft. Bragg in NC, Ft. Knox in Ky and Ft. Leonardwood in Mo.
The Draft would put ain increased strain on all these bases and the necessity for dril instructorts will skyrocket and the need for real estate to put bases will mean billions of dollars pulled out of other government programs to increase the military budget.
Restarting the draft is not something that you can cook up in a week or even a month; is a lenghty and complex process that would take years to employ and set up.
So I seriously doubt that a restatement of the draft is in the mind of our military and government; it's more tha likely something that would be made in a "Last ditch" circumnstance and only in the event that the need for combat soldiers outstrips our current recruitment and training capabilities.
(such as, in the event of a War on American soil.)

No, everyone gets paid the same. However, if there ever is a draft, I bet Congress will drop military pay, especially for the E-1 through E-4 ranks, because they won't be trying to recruit anymore, and it would save a lot of money.

Draftees get half pay, and everyone man gets either a rifle or an ammo clip. The idea being that when one guy falls, you can pick up his rifle and now be armed.
No, seriously, I think they get paid the same.

Everyone is paid according to rank. All pay scales for an E-4 as an example, whether they be army, navy, Marines, coast guard, or air force, all e-4's are paid the same.
Hazard pay will kick up the normal monthly allowance, as well as clothing, travel, and housing allowance for those who's job requires them to use these benefits.

The same pay and benefits apply to everyone in the service, drafted or not. (No enlistment bonuses for draftees though)

There WILL be another draft sometime in the future, but not for Iraq. When we get involved in a REAL war there could be a draft, not for abunch of rag tag idiots w/ AKs that no one really gives a **** about.
Yeah they get paid the same
