Hi! Interestingly, I found a painting titled: 'Gravelines' but by Louis Chevrin (with no image) in the Finnish Museum. There is a reference (E.Benezit) to a painting titled: 'Crakelines' (1934) by Derain that was in the collection of the Musee National d'Art Moderne, Paris.. but it's no longer there.. perhaps it was on loan and returned to a private collection. You may want to look through the galleries that have his work for sale if you're familiar with the image.. perhaps it's been misattributed. One other thought comes to mind... his work, along with others, was thought to be offensive to the Third Reich and many artworks were destroyed... and there was at least one Derain piece that was part of the restitution to Jewish familes whose art was stolen by the Nazis... perhaps it's being warehoused for that purpose. I found no reference to it.

Well, I'd start with Google Images and type in that information and see what comes up. Some images have links where you can purchase the painting. If that doesn't work, go to the nearest art gallery and ask the specialist if they have an idea of where you can get it. Good luck!
