i would but instead i will explain
Jesus was born a Jew and upheld the mosaic law(Jewish) he wasn't a Christian because Christian means follower of Christ(the Messiah) so Jesus couldn't have followed himself
(to give you a good example imagine a rock band(Jesus) that has groupies(Christians) the groupies(Christians) follow the band(Jesus) it's clear that the band(Jesus) can't be part of the groupies(Christians) )
some time after his death the Jews recognized Jesus as a prophet but not as the Messiah
besides the Christian bible appeared only 100 years after the death of Jesus when the early Christian church decided upon it's contents

My G-d- don't any Christians learn anything about what you call the old testament? For the love of Pete.... Jesus was Jewish because.... his mother and father were Jewish. Jesus was a teacher (rabbi) who spoke of "reforming" Judaism- a radical idea at the time. But, he did have lots of followers... he also had lots of people who didn't like him. Jesus never said that he was the messiah... the messiah won't know that he is, in fact, the messiah-AND we are still waiting for the messiah. Jesus does not meet all the conditions that must be met to be the messiah which is why Jews DO NOT believe he is the messiah. By the way, there is a name for so-called Messianic Jews... they are called Christians!

Well Jesus wasn't born Christian, Christianity didn't even exist until Jesus triggered it. So yes, Jesus was a Jew whom some people thought was the Jewish Messiah. People who believed Jesus was the Messiah started the Christian religion.

No. The whole point of Judaism does not revolve around J*sus, silly boy. You forget it existed for thousands of years before he ever came along. Judaism began over 5,000 years ago; it's a covenant between G-d and the Jews. J*sus, around 2,000 years ago, happened to be born into the covenant and was raised in the religion. Somewhere along the way, people thought he was the messiah. The Jews didn't believe so because he fulfilled none of the messianic prophesies before dying. Xtianity was born, they made J*sus into a god, worshiped him as the messiah and a god--Jews still don't believe he was the messiah, he is irrelevant to our faith, end of story.

"the whole point of jews" is not that they "don't believe in Jesus". The Jewish race has been around for millennia and traditionally Jews trace their ancestry to Abraham. In the gospels of Matthew and Luke, both writers trace Jesus's ancestry through a number of notable figures, including Abraham. He was raised according to Jewish customs (he was circumcised, for example) and also, for the most part, obeyed Jewish law and affirmed the Jewish scriptures - ie. the Christian old Testament.
There are Jews who believe Jesus was the Messiah, they are Messianic Jews, or Jewish Christians.

We do not believe the messiah will be divine.
Perhaps a man named Jesus lived in Judah at some time in history. He certainly was not divine!
Messianic "Jews" are NOT Jews. They are one of the peddlers of door-to-door Christianity!

Jesus Christ is the Jewish messiah. Those who believed him became "Christians" <---greek for the hebrew "messiah". Those jews who didn't accept Jesus remained Jews. Jesus came to fullfill the Jewish law (10 commandments). Through Jesus, we are under grace in order to obey the law. God bless.

Jesus was a real Jew. Not these white European jews who hate Christ. The original Hebrews were brown skinned. The people today (who hate Jesus) their ancestors converted to Judaism in Eastern Europe 900 years after Jesus was crucified.

Well, I guess because the Bible tells us He was?
I had a Jewish friend tell me that there's no such thing as a Christian Jew. The definition of Jew, according to him, was a believer in the God of the OT, a monotheist.
So, I guess that's why Jewish believers use the title "Messianic Jew".
