Why Does The Catholic Church Support The Illegal Immigrants?

I heard from people that by showing support to the illegals that the Church hopes to fill in the seats more.

Is this the reason?

You hit the nail right on the head,My Friend.As more and more people in this country are realising that they simply don't need the expensive package of deceit,Neanderthalism and untruth that the church has been selling them for 2000 years,they are counting on the still-pious Central-and-South Americans to come over here and make better money-to be deposited directly into the collection plate!And if the illegals' presence drives down our' living wage for American citizens,well,no skin off the Pope's nose.

They are on a BIG PR campaign: support the illegal immigrants and they will go to church and give what they can to the collection plate (but not 10%), then if Congress ever decides what to do and they become legal and then citizens, they will join and promote the Catholic religion and vote for the more conservative/neocons candidates (even though they're heretics and the Inquisition didn't finish them). They ultimately need more members to give money because they had to fork over a lot of money to payoff the lawsuits for the pedophile priests - and it must be replaced or else the Vatican will have to start digging into their huge coffers and open the money vault for the other pending lawsuits...

The same reason they allow immigration of all nations and religion into Vatican City. All that want to live within the walls of Vatican City can without question. There are no laws in Vatican city that would deport illegal immigrants from this holy city/country.

Oh wait yes there are, they would kick your *** out. Damn, sounded good at first. Maybe the Vatican should shut the hell up until they practice what they preach. I think US government should be giving all illegal immigrants a free plane ticket to Vatican city (one way) and see how much the vatican is for it then.

Because most of illegal immigrants are Hispanic and the vast majority of them are devoted Catholics. If they stay here, they'll have better jobs than in their countries and, as a consequence, they will give more money to the church, it's pure business.

It's called "compassion". Christ commands us to feed the hungry and aid the poor, whether or not we personally like them or agree with their political position. Many of these people come from poverty levels that we cannot even begin to understand. We are called upon to actively address the suffering of other human beings, and not just sit around in a church pew wishing somebody else would do it.

Because the Catholic Church just like any other business conglomerates own and/or share stocks in companies which employ illegal immigrants. It's not humanity. It's business.

Yes, most (but certainly not all) Mexicans and other Latinos are Catholic and more likely to attend church than other Catholics.
