I am about to be SHIPPED off to an EXTREMELY strict boarding school far away from home. It only seemed logical I needed to break up with my boyfriend beforehand. I was not all that worried about it as it seemed to based upon TWO YOUNG HOTTIES SHARING SOME FUN TIMES rather than real love.

However, his response surprised me and I would appreciate others' opinions as to how I should approach this quagmire. He asked me if we can just continue to have INTERCOURSE anyways until I go away to school (which is only a few more days) and when I return on vacations?

I was TOO STUNNED and HURT to answer as he said he had told everyone that we FREQUENTLY DO IT so I ran away SCREAMING ABOUT HOW DISGUSTED I WAS by him. Should I just tell him TO GO TAKE A HIKE?

This is not the quagmire you think it is. It's pretty simple, and good thing it wasn't based on true love. The guy basically is telling you he hung out with you for one thing only. I'll give him some credit, at least he makes no secret of it. However, telling everyone about the more intimate details of your relationship hardly puts him on the short list for long term relationship candidates. I don't know why you're even wondering whether or not to tell him to take a hike. You're already disgusted by his less than honorable behavior. The guy shows a lack of class, and maturity. You should not tell him anything else. Don't scream. Don't talk. Don't plead. Regardless of whether or not it is true that you chose to allow this boy to become part of you, people will make up their own minds, if he is a cad and talks about you. Do not dignify it with a response. He is trying to control you. Don't let him. If you react in any way, he gets what he wants from you: a response. You broke it off. Now stick to it! Lori, I wouldn't even dignify his response or reaction with an answer.If you try to discredit him by calling him a liar he will only be more full of himself ( as well as something else).To others it will appear you are trying too hard to defend yourself.As Shakespeare said "I fear thou dost protest too much" and that is how others may think.Don't waste another minute of time thinking of this guy,he isn't worth it.Ignoring him will be your best reaction.He isn't out of diapers yet based on his immature reaction. you both sound young. As youth we do a lot and say a lot of stupid thngs w/o really knowing the consequences. Simply tell him how insulted you are...be just as honest with him as he was with asking you to 'just have intercourse'. if he is a true friend and cares about you he will not want to insult you or hurt you. see how he reacts once you tell him how you feel.
