I have been studying the Bible lately (actually I have been trying to learn everyones faith) since I don't want to pass judgments and want to clear up misunderstanding. I wanted to ask about certain verses from the Bible... and if you can explain them better. Please be assured i'm not trying to say if your right or wrong. Trying to get your opinion on my findings.

John 14:15-16-
"If you love me keep my comandments. And I shall pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abde with you forever"

John 15:26-27-
"But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, even the spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the father, he shall testify to me:And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the begining."

**Also John 16:5-8-
But now I go on my way to him that sent me and none of you asketh me 'wither goest thou?' But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart; for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto yout; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.*And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and aprove rightousess and judment*."

*Gets Bible*
I totally understand what you mean, and I thank you for being one of the first couple muslims to not stereotype Christians. May God bless you for learning his word.
~My Bible is actually a little different then yours (it has the same meaning but ti's a bit easier to understand).
John 14:15-16
"If you love me you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever-the Spirit of Truth." [Basically Jesus is telling his people that if they obey him and believe what he says he will ask his Father (God) to give you a counselor (someone who helps you and guides you) which is the Holy Spirit.]

~John 15:26-27 "When the counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning."
[Now Jesus is saying that when he gives the people the holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) that it will testify (give evidence to) about Jesus and it means you also must testify (give evidence that Jesus died and rose again) about him that you have been his children from the beginning of time.

You see Jesus loves you, and I can tell you right now God is very happy that you've been looking into his word and that he wants you to come closer to him.Nice job on the verses.

Fortunately it is not against the rules in Christianity for a Christian to discuss the faith with a non-believer.

These passages refer to the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. This is part of what is called the Trinity.

The Trinity is similar to a person being a Person and a Child and a Parent or a Spouse. You are probably told that 1 + 1 + 1 cannot be one and yet almost everyone is a person and a child and a parent or spouse.

The Holy Ghost is the portion of God which communicates God's will to anyone who truly seeks God's will. The Holy Spirit will lead a person who is truly seeking God's will in understanding of the scripture and the will of God so that a person may lead as righteous a life as a person can.

The Holy Spirit communicates with us in ways that the person seeking the will of God can accept. It may be through a vision or a voice or something else, an epiphany (if you like the currently popular and politically correct version) for example.

Without the Holy Spirit guiding a person, a person cannot achieve salvation or paradise.

Peace be upon you.

These statements are from the Lord Jesus Christ and He is referring to the coming of the Holy Spirit; the Spirit of Truth; our Comforter; and the Holy Spirit of God came on the following day of Pentecost (the feast); 50 days after Passover at which time Jesus was crucified, the crucifixion where he could not hang on the cross any longer because it was Passover time. He arose from death because death cannot hold you without sin and He had no sin and He was on the earth again for 40 days and after He assended into the heavens, He instructed His disciples (including the apostles, other followers, His Mother and Mary Magdalene, etc.) to tarry in the upper room..., (Read the book of Acts, chapters 1 & 2), and when He had successfully completed His ascension to the Father and sat down at His right hand, the Holy Spirit would descend..., AND HE DID!!
There is absolutely NO mention of your prophet in the Holy Bible. Read also the entire Book of the Acts of the Apostles and note each mention of the Holy Spirit and how He comes and what is the result of that for the "Believer". By the way, Jesus did everything He ever did on Earth by the power of the Holy Spirit upon him as He ministered AS a man baptized with the Holy Spirit. He would NOT have been our "substitute by dying on the cross to pay for sins IF He had done it as "the Supernatural Son of God; part of the Godhead"; which He was. He had to live and die as a MAN or His life and death wouldn't have been a fair example for us. See? After His resurrection, He no longer was a flesh and blood man, He said He was "flesh and bones" but the life in Him was again the glory and life of God. He indeed WAS God in the Earth at that point and even walked through walls and appeared and disappeared at will. Before that, He was the Son of God totally IN THE BODY OF A MAN. His anointing was given Him when He was baptized by John in the river Jordan and the Holy Spirit came upon Him and His Father God spoke from heaven approving and affirming Him AS His Beloved Son. This is evidence of all three of the Godhead doing what they do. Not 1+1+1=3; it is 1x1x1=1. If I multiply myself over and over, I am still ONE.

The verses you posted are clearly referring to the Holy Spirit. I suggest you read the book of "Acts" Also read the first 3 chapters of the book of Genesis, this will help explain john 15:26-27 which you posted. (Gen.1:26) (Gen3:22)
Then compare those Scriptures with John 1:1-2
and John 1:14 and John 1:18 also see John 4:25-26 and also John 8:58 and lastly John 17:5 ...Reference this last Scripture with Phil 2:7... Gen 32:24-30 is very interesting as well..Who was Jacob wrestling with? What name did he call him by? Now compare that scripture to Exodus 33:20
How could Jacob have been wrestling with God and live to tell about it? Clearly the 'Angel' Jacob wrestled with is the pre-existent Christ spoken of in Genesis, chapters one and three.
If God Almighty came to this earth "In All His Glory"...every living thing would perish. Christ Jesus is Gods revelation of Himself to humanity, in a way we can more easily comprehend. We will only see Christ Jesus "In All His Glory" as God Almighty in heaven. Now lets look at Exodus 16:10
What appeared before Aaron in the clouds? It says: "The glory of the Lord" Now, who is called Lord throughout the Scriptures? If you say God Almighty, then why didn't Aaron and the others perish according to Exodus 33:20? You either have a contradiction of Gods Word, or you have the pre-existent Christ appearing in the clouds, thus sparing the peoples lives. When God refers to 'Us' and 'We' in those verses in Genesis, who is He speaking of and what about the 'Spirit' hovering over the waters in Chapter 1? Clearly God is revealing Himself to us 'In All His Glory' Father, Son and Spirit. Now lets look at the book of Psalms... Ps.18:31
and 18:46 and 19:14 Who are these verses referring to. And what about Psalm 22:6-9;14-16 and finally I will close with Psalm 32:1-2..This verse describes the belief of Christianity.
Saved by Grace, not by what we have done. Read the book of Acts and the Gospels to see who the 'Comforter' is.
God Bless You....Peace.

The Comforter or Paracletos is named by Jesus as being the Holy Spirit and not a later man claiming to be a prophet especially one who contradicts the teaching of the Gospel of John

Good for you for being open minded! I think it's cool when people are willing to learn more about other religions.
Anyway, my faith believes that God, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three separate beings. BUT they call themselves one and the same because they are all members of the God head and equal in every way.
For example, you have 2 parents that are separate people. But if one of them tells you to do something, it is like they both tell you becase they present a united front and support one another. It doesn't matter which parent told you to clean your room, the other will support that, so the other might as well have said it too.
So, whether you meet the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit, it is like meeting all of them since they are part of one united God head. Three separate beings with one united purpose.

John 14:15-16:

Notice that this comforter abde with me forever. I think Muhammad quite died in the meantime.

John 15:26-27:

By "even the spirit of truth" I don't understand "even a man in flash and bones".

Sorry to disapprove, no Mohammad here. Try Songs of Solomon. Doesn't Mohammad means lovely?

Sorry but these are not prophecies of Muhammed but the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the Trinity.

In Islam if you call Muhammed part of the Trinity it is called shirk, a crime punishable by sharia law with Crucifixion.

He is promising His disciples that He will send the Holy Ghost. Was Mohammad a spirit? Last time I checked he was a man.

The Bible even records when the Holy Ghost was sent on the day of Pentecost. To claim these scriptures somehow refer to Mohammad is to take them extremely out of context.
