There are Gnostic groups that reject basics of Catholic and Christian belief (like the basic goodness of the material world which is created by the one good God, that the soul is created and is not an emanation from God, the resurrection of the body, etc) but like the ceremonial of traditional Catholicism or Greek Orthodoxy.
Groups like the Eglise Gnostique,Liberal Catholic Church(which is Theosophist and claims Old Catholic Orders) or the Gnostic Orthodox Church are not Christian in a theological sense, let alone Catholic, but are better described as Christo-Gnostic

The gnostics were a bunch of heretics who basically said that only the spirit was holy and the material world is evil.
The Catholic Church condemned it as heresy because they say that when Jesus became human, he blessed all matter, all atoms and molecules, all the material in the world and still uses it as a means of grace.
So a gnostic Catholic would be somebody who is Catholic, but who still (either consciously or unconsciously) believes like a gnostic: he or she might believe that only the spirit is holy and the whole world is evil and should be avoided as much as possible.
PS Thank you Tiger Lily. I didn't know that: so... what she said. :)

The Gnostic-Catholic Church/Universal Gnostic Church This church was started by Jules-Benoîît Stanislas Doinel du Val-Michel. He was an Occultist, Spiritist, and Freemason. While working as a librarian for the Library of Orleans in France he became obsessed with Gnosticism. In 1888 he claimed "Eon Jesus" appeared to him and commanded him to start a Gnostic Church, with a man known as Doniel as Arch Bishop. The group was said to teach Satan was the good god of the Universe and the God of the Old Testament was evil. They also were said to embrace ideas akin to Marxism, calling it "The Brotherhood of Man". This church has ties to the occult lodge Ordro Templi Orentis, and includes occultist and quasi-Satanist Aleister Crowley as one of its "Bishops". After Crowley became involved, the Church became completely "Crolweyized", and Crowley’s religion of Thelema replaced whatever similarities to Christianity there might have been.

The Gnostic Catholic Church is a contemporary occult church generally associated with the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) and the thelemic magical tradition. It exists as one faction of the Nouvelle Église Gnostique Universelle founded in 1890 by Jules-Benoit Doinel (1842-1902). Around 1890 Doinel had a mystical encounter with the Virgin Mary and was consecrated as a bishop by Jesus Christ. He in turn assumed the role of patriarch of the new church. In the four years remaining in his life he consecrated four bishops, each of whom began as the head of separate lineages and from which several dozen small jurisdictions have sprung, most teaching a form of Gnostic Christianity.

Gnostic Catholic is a contradition in terms. They are opposing beliefs.
Gnosticism, which predates Christianity by a few centuries, teaches:
+ The physical world is bad
+ Only spirituality is good
+ Humans are trapped in between
+ Salvation comes from knowledge (gnosis means knowledge)
+ Elitism, only a chosen few will be saved
All of which go against the teaching of Christianity
+ The physical world is good. God said so in Genesis.
+ Humans are physical and spiritual beings and both natures are good
+ Salvation comes from grace and not merit
+ God wants all to be saved
