Nothing in Iraq is true.

All a big lie. From WMDs. to war on terrorism. to we are winning the war. To protecting the population from insurgents(The insurgents are the people). All the time 4 tankers a day full of oil make their way from Iraqi ports to American refineries.

But believe what you want to believe.

'Operation Fardh al-Qanoon', 'Operation Phantom Thunder' are the the driving forces in the troop surge, they also support 'Operation Arrowhead Ripper' and 'Operation Together Forward'
Operation Fardh al-Qanoon: Baghdad is separated into 9 sectors and go through the city exterminating insurgents (think of the final scene in the good the bad and the ugly)
Operation Phantom Thunder : Flanking Baghdad from the North and South
Operation Arrowhead Ripper: Clear out Baqubah
Together Forward:Failing Security plan revitalized with troop surge.

The whole Purpose: It's mostly seen as a response to the Iraq Study Group bad outlook for Iraq, and trying to decrease insurgent numbers before the fall progress report.

The Surge is a great success, as long as there are troops to defend the people, there is peace in Baghdad, the second they leave, it's slaughter time! Sunni VS Shia, Al-Qaeda VS 1920 Rev Brigade, Christian VS everybody. It's like Highlander only one will survive.

Unfortunately, an operation like this takes time. And time is a precious commodity that Iraq does not have.

Victory.
Democrats are frightened.
They are supporting the Enemy.
If the US wins, the Democrats go down in defeat along with the Terrorists.

If Freedom and the USA are Defeated, the Terrorists & the Democrats Win!!!!!

To stop the violence. It is going OK, not great, not bad. Violence is up in every category, but that is expected. We have to have a lot more violence for the violence to go down and the Iraqis to stand up. President Bush said so.

Durbin is a lib. Listen to President Bush. He says it will be a very long tough road with a lot of death and destruction.

We will have to extend tours and re-surge. No doubt about that.

Besides, we have to pre-emptively attack Iran.

Eradicating islamic terrorists in both Iraq and Afganistan - toss in Europe for that matter - will require a determination equal to the terrorists' patience to annihilate us.

Premature withdrawal may be a good birth control measure, but it will not stop terrorists.

Well George was obviously recounting a time in his memory when he was a child and he used to play armies and soldiers with his friend and he always used to lose. So he asked his mother to buy him extra soldiers in order to beat his friend. So in the end after a few weeks of losing and he ended up emptying the shop of all the toy soldiers and tanks etc in order win and only when he outnumbered his friend by a 1000 to one did he manage to win a game. He thought this tactic may win in a real life situation but well you know the rest.

The goal is to defeat terrorists, stabilize Iraq and turn security over to the Iraq government.

When you double the number of cops in your town, of course the crime rate will go down. The question is, how long can the US maintain the lower crime rate?
