20/20 also issued a retraction AND an apology to Dr. Price.
20/20 recorded a Sunday service of Dr. Price's. I heard this particular service personally. 20/20 took the testimony of a man Dr. Price knew, and one he had permission to share with his congregation. This man who had everything the world could offer. Dr. Price named some of the many luxuries the man had to show the congregation that the man easily afforded all the BEST and most EXPENSIVE in this life, but even then...the man told Dr. Price that he was empty and never happy.
20/20 wrongly and unethically and definitely unprofessionally twisted this testimony to make it appear that Dr. Price confessed to such riches and wealth which is not the truth.
20/20 lied in their coverage of Dr. Price and others, but especially Dr. Price in that 20/20 exclusive.

No problem being rich and being Christian, but does this man donate to others? Does he spend his money on things that would improve the world and in a way that says he is following Christ's message? He is tithing to the church the necessary 10%?

I'm no Christian, and I don't generally criticize people simply for being rich and claiming to be Christian simultaneously, but aren't Christians supposed to sell everything they own and give their money to the poor? I'm pretty sure that showed up somewhere in Luke 12, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

Being in the UK I can't comment on that particular case.
From the other replies it sounds like bad journalism.
But on your general point...
Should there be rich Christians?
Acts 2:44-45
Acts 3:32-35
Looks more like communism, or at least communality was the norm.
"no one said that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had everything in common."
Never mind tithing, there's always the example of Ananias and Saphira!

Money means power to the secular world. It takes money in our society. The secular world can make porno movies, promote condoms, instead of abstinence, They can do all kinds of immoral things with their money they figure the more money they have the powerful. So for the christian to have money the more powerful to them, Christians combat them with moral movies, teach abstinence, and offer way's to educate etc..... So we are a threat to them
