Your skin has seven layers. A tat is placed around the third or fourth layer I believe. You only shed dead skin cells from the top layer. Don't forget, 72% of household dust is dead skin cells. Nuckin futs, right?

Tattoos are deeper than the skin that sheds. Only the few top layers continually shed. Below that it doesn't and retains change.

Tattoos are in the layer below the surface of your skin. The top layer of skin, or epidermis, is constantly growing and shedding cells. Your tattoo is protected in the layer below. So it doesn't become exposed or grow out.

you are shedding skin cells but the ink in tattoos is beneath the layer of cells that is constantly growing so it stays put

tatoos are 4 layers below the skin shedding skin is minute in thickness .

Ink is below the surface of the epidermis, i believe it's in the dermis, much deeper.. does not shed.

because they needle it into another layer of ur skin that isn1t exposed to shedding...but it might fade a bit
