The Army also uses a Bradley . Which technically is called a
Fast Attack Fighting Vehicle. Which to us is a Tank.

The Abrams is the only tank in American combat formations.
The Bradley is an infantry (M2) or cavalry (M3) fighting vehicle. The Striker is an armoured personnel carrier.

I don't know if the M551 Sheridan is still used in training in the desert of California. The Sheridan light tank was developed as an airborne tank, but has only been used for combat training for over a decade.

The bradley is not a tank! It is an fighting vechile capable of carrying troops in the back. It is awesome, mine sustained numerous IED explosions undernieth, We were still combat effective. I'd say the M1 is the only take used in combat ops sine 2005.

Not really, the military it transitioning to lighter armored vehicles such as the striker. The M-1A2 Abrams is the only real "tank" the US military has in its arsenal.
