can it be anything more serious than allergies? these are intense sneezing fits too, he sneezes maybe 7 times very quickly. sometimes he has a couple sneezing fits! he's a slightly chubby australian sheperd/border collie mix, about 80 lbs, but he gets lots of exercise.

He has always sneezed a little, more than our other dog.

i have 2 miniature dogs, pom and min pin. They had sneezing fits also. They had good appetites and seemed well otherwise so I researched the net but did not find conclusive answers.Asthma, allergies etc. did keep coming up.After several months every-body's back to usual. If their are no other symptoms, loss of appetite, lethargy etc.,I would not worry too much. But a trip to the vet could answer your questions.

It looks like you already know the answer. Yes, they can. I had a dog that had sneezing fits quite often, only hers were cruel. She was a small dog with short legs and when she'd sneeze, she'd slam her face into the floor, which would make her sneeze again. If nobody stopped her she probably could've knocked herself out. I'm not sure what triggered her sneezing, but we'd always go hold her face so she wouldnt hit the ground. If that meant being sneezed on, oh well.

It's not usually allergies. Has he always done this or is it something new? They can get foreign bodies stuck in their nasal passages that will cause sneezing. Tumors in the nose can cause sneezing. Some dogs are just sneezy, and do it a lot, especially when excited.

It most likely allergies. I know a dog who has allergies and the poor thing can hardly go a minute without sneezing! Try going to the vet to see if they can perscribe something for him. Good Luck!

I wouldn't worry about it if it does not interfere with his activities and he is eating and drinking normally.
