I want to know if any engineers have to fly around for busniess

Structural engineers do fly around the world. As with most fields, large structures like bridges and dams demand specialty skills. These skills are fairly concentrated around the world. People draw on the most skilled people available, which means going international.

Structural engineers with great reputations like Dr. Ray Clough, Dr. Joseph Penzien, Dr. Senol Utku, Dr. Charles Head Norris, Dr. Waifa Chen and so many others used to travel in different places to conduct lectures and seminars or whenever they serve as consultants to some projects like the Burj Dubai. It also happened all of the time that structural engineers are asked for help when architects cannot figure out if their conceptual drawings are structurally constructable or not. Usually the honor is attributed to the architects but the blame is for the structural engineers. take for example the World Trade Center..

That will depend on the company. Some companies only do work locally. Some work nationally. And some work internationally.
