First of all I think your dad is probably doing the right thing. Of course, it sucks that your car is gone, but still you could always get a job. I'm in high school right now and I'm a senior, and I'm active in a sport every season (currently football) and I am looking for a job where I could work night shift. You have to earn that car, and so you gotta do something, I mean I assume you get out of school around 4, you could easily work until 10 p.m. or something, just figure something out, even if it's just on weekend, and you can get a car after few months of working.

I have never stolen a car.
I have never knowingly indulged in illegal drugs (I have gone to some parties, suspected illegal drugs, left).
Anyone here claiming to have done a crime should be reported to the police. We are not anonymous here. Our IP address can be traced. All it takes is a simple warrant to Yahoo which will identity our ISP, then another warrant there, and the police will be knocking on your door real soon.
The only time I stole something was when I shared my home with some other guys ... we had OUR stuff in kitchen ... middle of night I am starving
I replenished their stuff within 24 hours, apologized, stocked up on enough for me.

Honda accord, this old couple was selling a mint condition one for $2000 you could litterally eat off the undercarrage it was that clean! I turned around and sold it for $5000 four days later. It was better then a great deal, it was a great STEAL.
