To lose weight really fast, i suggest excerise every day (cardio), and weights maybe twice a week. Also, eat healthy.

You are at the age where you gain weight easily and probably won't get any taller. It's good to watch what you weigh and eat right, but don't get the idea you need to be totally skinny.

There is a program that teaches you to eat right and you will slim right down and you eat more, not less of the right foods...so you don't starve, etc. It is called The Six Week Body Makever and your Mom might like it as well. It costs $99 for the whole program...can be paid in four payments....and I highly recommend it. I have lost about 20 pounds in four weeks....just staying on the plan of eating the right foods which are good for you.

Check it out on sixweekbodymakeover.com...and have your Mom look at it. I love this program! You would take off the ten pounds easily if your Mom thinks you need to.

10lbs is not alot of extra weight to be carrying so do not stress. Make sure you used a child's BMI calculator and not an adults as that good make a difference to your results.

In your case the healthiest way to lose weight would be to limit soft drink, junk food, sweets and take away and then try to do something active every day. Walk or play a sport. Anything that gets you moving will help.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

It won't be too hard. You should decide how many calories you want in your diet, and then I would recomend looking for items that are low calorie, but also low fat, but it all depends on what you are doing for your diet. The main thing for a diet to work is just to consume fewer calories than what you are burning, so lower calorie is best. But the thing about just lower calorie is that you don't want to get something that is lower calorie, but still has a ton of fat, and you don't want to get something that is low calorie but with a ton of sugar. Just look at the labels and you need to figure out what fits into YOUR diet.
