what's the best time or conditions to give the time sheet to your boss ?

my boss have to sign my timesheet every other week and sometimes when he is happy he signs it and laughs but other times he is like he doesn't want to sign it

what would you do in this situation ? any tips or tricks would be appreciated; thanks

Does your boss have an Inbox or something like that? Put the time sheet in it with a post it note that says "please sign. Thanks." If he doesn't want to sign it, it is probably because he is busy at that moment and it's not convenient. If you put it in his Inbox, he can sign it when it is more convenient and give it back to you.
