I really want to bond with my three parakeets and I researched and it said to talk to them in order to bond with them. But I have not idea of what to talk about. And some tips on how should and what to do when I'm talking to my parakeets.

If you're just talking to them for purposes of bonding with them and getting them used to the sound of your voice, then it probably doesn't matter too much what you talk about. You could talk on the phone with someone you usually have pleasant conversations with. You could get a short children's book and read it out loud. I once described the steps I was taking to make dinner to my rabbits at part of getting them accustomed to my voice. Pretty much anything that results in you talking in a pleasant tone is fine.

Well when you talk to them make sure it is stuff they can repeat to anyone, at anytime. Becasue they just might! If you like baseball talk some stats to them and your favorite plays. Or another sport, maybe cooking, or one of your hobbies. Tell them things about you, or tell them funny stories... just make sure you wont be embarrassed if they sqwak out something absurd YOU said!

Ha this question is really cute. I think you can talk to them about anything, they probably just enjoy the sound of a human voice. So tell them about your day then ask them about theirs. Just talk to them about whatever is on your mind.

I have 2 parakeets. I'd repaet tings like their name, hello, etc, to get them use to hearing your voice. My birds don't talk, but they I love to be talked to.

I have always found it easier to get chummy with just one ---two or more tend to bond with each other and ignore little ol me !

Anything! thats the beauty of it. tell them how pretty they are or just talk about your day. I talk to my cat about stuff and she just sits and listens (occasioinally purrs). Thats why animals are so great!
They also say that talking to plants helps they grow also....

tell them how pretty and beautiful they are. tell them you love them. tell them how good they are. if you talk to them enough they might learn some words and say them too!
