It's a pretty detailled photograph, but you can't see much because the flowers are shut on all the plants, and they don't have any leaves at that level. They were tangled in with other plants so I couldn't really take a better pic than this. It's growing in the shade in a hedgerow next to a farmer's field in Leicestershire, England. What is it?

Okay, yes I thought it looked like a campion but the flowers are blue, not red...?

Looks fairly like chicory.

I'm not sure about the leaves but the closed flowers look like campion :)

As above, I'd say it was Campion.
