Well,
My recipe is more than just salsa and you can not go wrong in making this for an appetizer.
1. First fry up a pound of hamburger (do not overcook or burn it).
2. Get out a crock pot and set it to medium
3. Add the hamburger after grease has been drained.
4. Add about 3/4 of a medium size jar of your favorite salsa.
5. Cube about half a box of Veveeta cheese.
(Comes in a large box)
6. Add some onion if you wish, I do not add any.
7. Pour in about 1/8 to 1/4 cup of water or milk.
8. Stir regularly, so that you dont burn the cheese.
9. When the cheese is fully melted , put the crock pot on
low or your lowest setting just to keep it warm.
10. Serve warm or hot with tortilla chips.
This stuff is great , fills you up fast, and is awesome for football games etc...

I normally chop my ingredients so there aren't really big chunks of stuff in it. I don't like it chunky. Your choice and you can make this as big or small as you like so I didn't list how much of everything as everyones taste will vary....You could add other things if you like!
This is my own recipe...
*Make sure you get all the juices from your ingredients into your dish!
Tomatoes Chopped
Mangos Chopped
Cilantro Chopped
White Onion Chopped ( i like to use sweet onions also)
Purple/Red Onion Chopped
Garlic Cloves Chopped
Green Onions Chopped
Salt
Pepper
My friends love this salsa and so do my kids!

Put some tomatoes in a blender or food processor. Chop them until chunky. Add finely chopped red onions. 1 to 2 tespsoons chopped or crushed garlic. Add a small amount of fresh cilantro-careful, too much is overpowering. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder(to taste) then blend again. Not too much or will be watery. A dash of salt.

Well I am hispanic and i live in new mexico and I can make good salsa. You get fresh tomatoes or diced canned ones, usually four fresh or two cans of diced, one jalapeno, one garlic clove, and about a tsp of chopped cilantro. I usually blend it, but you can cut it up and make like a chunky salsa or pico de gallo.

Salsa is one of those things that is what you make of it. I just chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, jalapeno and cilantro, little salt and pepper and let it sit for a while before serving.
