Same as you - Vista sucks!! It needs another 12 months or so to iron out the bugs. I'm sticking with Xp for now.

I never did try vista...Its a new thing so it will need time to get the bugs and stuff out. I will probably upgrade to vista in a year or so whenever I get a new computer. Just wait awhile and reinstall it and be sure to download the updates.

I've had Vista on my computer for a few months and it took some getting used to but I haven't had any problems and actually like it better than XP now that I'm used to it.

Hello; There's many out there (myself included) who dislike Vista. When I first got my notebook, I took Vista off, and put on three different versions of Linux, (Ubuntu, Freespire, and Linux XP). I had trouble getting my WiFi to work, and after much investigation, discovered that the Atheros AR5007EG wireless device does not have (at the time of this writing) a driver for linux... I relented and put XP Pro on, but was unable to install the latest security drivers for my system... although it worked fine, and because XP has a much smaller footprint than Vista, and requires much less RAM, the XP OS runs much faster than Vista.
Thinking in terms of security, I took the advice of the worlds foremost Hacker (the kid who at 15, cracked the FBI & CIA networks; "Don't use Internet Explorer, and make sure you enable all the updates"). I tried using FireFox browser, and Opera... but I hated the number of lines they force upon you, with all the crap they install... you end up with about 5" of toolbars, and the more of that crap, the less actual viewing area you have for surfing... I had wished I had a legal copy of XP Pro, but couldn't find one, without giving MS more of my $$$.
Since Vista is such a memory and resource hog, I went out and purchased another Gb RAM, so now, with 2Gb, my system runs just fine... I also put all the visual settings to "Windows Classic" so you cannot tell that I am using Vista; it looks just like XP (classic), or more accurately; like Windows 2000 Professional.
I look forward to the day, when I can use Linux on my laptop; I'm buying an external drive, since my notebook supports booting off the hard drive, CD/DVD, Network, or USB Hard drive (even off a CF/SD card!), so I'm going to load Linux on one external, and begin learning to use it... I just can't use the wifi with linux, but when I can, I'll use the Linux migration tool to bring all my Windows stuff over to Linux... to me, learning to use a notebook/desktop all over again, is worth getting away from Microsoft's strangle hold on me... I hate the fact that they're coming up with larger and more controlling Operating Systems, with less control for the end user, unless he/she pays even more, for upgraded versions... and I hate that any new computer has about $150~$200 added to it, becuase even the manufacturers and OEM's have to pay full price to MS, and they pass that cost on to us!

i'm with you. Cloverfield grew to become into rubbish on especially lots each and every point. listening to human beings look after it** makes me prefer to provide up on humanity. yet i did not like i'm Legend 8P CGI grew to become into damaging, zombies have been stupid and too seen. i think of Blair Witch gets boring interior the middle. they only whine and cuss for about 20 minutes. commencing up/end are ok. **"protection" usually includes excuses for the multitude of blunders, telling me something like character progression or suspense grew to become into large while it grew to become into non-existent, or resorting to own assaults or irrelevant straw guy arguments. because of the fact the movie is indefensible.
