corgi breeders or rescue in Houston?

Does anyone know a reputable breeder or location of a rescue? I should specify that I want to get a cardigan welsh corgi. Thanks

Try www.cardiganrescue.org and you can contact the rescue coordinator for Texas under the "volunteer" section. There are not many Cardigans in rescue at any given time, but you should get an application on file so that if a dog does come in to rescue, you can be notified.

Try www.cardigancorgis.com to locate club member breeders in your area. Be sure to ask questions to make sure you are contacting a reputable breeder who is producing healthy, socialized puppies.

First of all, I pray you do not go to a breeder. All this does is keep them in business and no matter how reputable they seem you rarely see the conditions the dogs live in. If you find a dog in a rescue most times they have been vetted and are known to be in good health. Most even come from foster homes where they may have been house trained and are very social.
