If your hard up for a cold beer take a mug and wet it under the tap throw it in the freezer for five minutes. It'll help you wait while the rest chill in the freezer.
You can also fast chill beer with a co2 extinguisher but it costs a small fortune to refill.
Good luck...May the cold beer be with you!

Sure why not? It may water it down a little - as some have suggested. But if you're drinking a really light beer anyway, it's not going to make too much of a difference especially if you drink it quick. Some may even consider it more refreshing. And when given the choice I'd definately rather have a cold beer with ice cubes in it than a warm beer. As much fuss as everyone else is making over ice... there is NOTHING nastier than a warm beer!

Sure. As you have already read, many people think it waters down the beer. This only happens if the beer stays in the mug. Add cubes, wait one minute and enjoy. The cubes do not melt fast enough to make a difference.

Get those plastic ice cubes you freeze, but don't melt.
I saw this one bar that had ice on the outside of the beer pitcher.
But to really answer this question, try for yourself. It will water down the beer, but it won't make it undrinkable. Beer is 90% water anyway.

I know lots of people who put ice cubes in their beer. I personally don't...give me a nice frosty mug!

Ice cubes can be put in beer, but why would you want to?
If anything, I would suggest putting the things (I forget what they're called) but they're like... little plastic things with water in them that are meant to be like re-useable icecubes of sort.

I have put ice in beer. It dilutes the beer a little, but if you have already drank three or more, you wont care.

Yes but only use a couple so as not to water it down. here is another suggestion. take your beer and slowly spin it in a tub of ice for one minute. it gets cold pretty fast (not ice cold but drinkable)

Yes. A lot of people (especially those who drink budmilloors) do that. I dont recommend it for any real beer though.
