Jesus, thee object of the Christian faith. The only name that has had the impact on the world above all others, and he never even wrote anything that is in the Bible. He just spoke and more people have listened to him than any other in the history of man kind! Who are you listening to? #2, #3, why not #1?
Like, what else is there really? Not much! Worship a man? NO!

Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is a way of life.
If you want the nitty-gritty details, you'll have to study the Bible itself. Get into a good organization rooted in the word of God and have them explain it to you.
How do you know they're real Christians? Read Galatians 5:22-23. He will have the fruits of the Spirit, he does not have the spirit of deceit, he will tell you all the bad things he has done in the past without hesitation, and testify to the goodness of God in his life and proclaim Jesus Christ as God and Saviour. And whatever he says, he does.

Christianity may be "the right one" for a lot of people. That doesn't mean that it is right for everyone. Each of us has to find that for ourselves. We all have different spiritual needs and have to learn to find ways to satisfy them for ourselves.
Some do that by joining a Christian church, some actually follow the dictates of mainstream Christianity as well. Some find great value in Judaism, or Islam, or Buddhism. Some find no value in spirituality at all. Its all up to each of us to find what we need and pursue it.
Following a religion to secure your after-life, out of fear of being in the "wrong" one, or because someone told that you should isn't taking care of your spiritual life. Its just wasting your time.

Religions are needed to explain the inexplicable to those who need it.
If you are happy with the teachings and value system of any particular religion, its the right one for you.
If an adherent of a particular religion didn't think theirs was the best, the only "One with the Answer" they wouldn't follow it. Would you be a Christian if you thought the New Testament was a bunch of fairy stories? Of course not, you have to believe it is the divinely revealed word of God. Or you don't and Christianity isn't for you.
Truthfully, no one really knows what exactly it is a Supreme Power is looking for, all we can do is believe or not that that one answer is right.

All other religions have at its core a system of behaviour by which people can get into their deity's favour.
i.e. the finite attempting to reach the infinite by finite steps.
The Bible describes God as recognizing our inability to do this and reaching down and helping us through Jesus Christ.
i.e. the infinite reaching the finite through infinite means.
It is the only way that could possibly work.
If we characterize the working to please God as "religion" and opening ourselves to Him working through us as a "relationship", it becomes apparent why Biblical Christianity is considered a relationship rather than a religion.

individually, as an agnostic leaning in direction of atheist, i do no longer extremely differentiate lots between christianity and different religions. i became raised by way of a mormon mom and a catholic father (leaving me at a loss for words as hell), besides the undeniable fact that I favorite to flow with my dad - in particular because of the fact he only went to a million hour of mass, and that that they had donuts later on. My mom could drag me alongside for 3 hours of LDS relaxing and exhilaration (assuming i did no longer have the skill to sneak out early). i found out extraordinarily early on that i did no longer have faith in any of the stuff that the two faith taught, or certainly any of the stuff that became in the bible, or different books (like the B.O.M.). I bear in mind arguing with the academics back while i became nonetheless approximately 7-8, and besides the undeniable fact that I performed alongside for a pair of years to maintain my mom off my back, I had already substitute into an agnostic (at superb). whilst that's conceivable that a number of the failings that those religions carry forth could be real, I carry that they are notably unbelievable. the consumer-friendly tenets of christianity are stable - peace & love, and so on., yet those get overshadowed by way of those with ulterior reasons (politics, domination, administration by way of worry, et al) who take great think approximately regards to the committed. i do no longer also have a situation with maximum religions, as long as they are no longer forcing human beings to have faith in them, or hurting anybody else. some have completed extremely some stable in the worldwide - like feeding/outfits the poor and looking out after the ill. in certainty, in case you think in something, it would not harm anybody else, and it makes you satisfied, then extra skill to you.

If you search for God with all your heart and soul and really want to know the truth, then you will find him and you will know he is the right one...You can't find the wrong one, if your heart is sincere when you search. But if you want some magic trick, it isn't going to happen. A broken and contrite heart on your knees before God...he will reveal himself to you.

It reflects beliefs not present in any other religion: that Christ is God, that he resurrected from the dead and is alive today, and that his birth from a virgin by the Holy Spirit denoted his sinless state.

Everybody thinks that their religion is the right one. How much sense does it make to say that I chose that religion even though I know that it is the wrong one.
