Once the universe comes to an end would Heaven and Hell come to an end as well? I've been reading a lot recently about the Oort Cloud, Nemesis Star, 2012, Andromeda/Milky Way collision, etc.

woody: The Bible is clear on the future of a "new heaven" and a "new earth" ! "Hell" is not a plausible dogma of the Christian faith; therefore, it does not exist as an ever-burning fire, as some like to misinform others. "Hell" as rendered within the Bible means simply "grave" or "hole" - from the original Greek word "hades". Since this IS the case, "hell" as a grave will be "burned up", as graves are matter and can be incinerated, (Revelation chapter 20, verse 14).

A planet can come to an end without the universe doing so. If you are referring to Revelation and end times. Those who mis-interpret this book beleive it speaks of the end of the world, while I think Revelation was fulfilled inthe first century, as do most MAINSTREAM Christians, those of the evanelical and fundamentalist persuasion believe the world will end. That means earth, not the universe. Also it could end by the population of all life dying but still be a dead planet.

I wouldn't worry about it happeniing anytime soon.

Heaven and Hell are not part of the universe. They exist, but they are not among the universe. Therefore, Heaven and Hell are for eternity-unlike the universe.
You shouldn't believe everything you read. The devil tries to fill your head with crap and it isn't good.
The bible says that Heaven and Hell are eternal-so if you are a believer of the one and only God, you should believe the bible.

No one thinks the universe will ever end.

Not according to the Book of Revelations. The Lake Of Fire will be eternal. But there will end the temptation on Earth and it's tempters eliminated when God cast Satan and his crew into the lake. Afterwards the Kingdom of Christ will be set up on Earth.
