I'm talking about that slip-on, flat-soled styled shoes, which Vans is famous for. Do these give support for the heel and are these healthy for walking around frequently?

Thanks so much!

Why don't you try out Nike shoes. They're generally kinda expensive but you can try checking out an outlet. just go to http://ipthing.com/deab58 to see an outlet in your area by putting in your zip code

I would say no. They do not have much cushioning. They are completely flat on the bottom so that you can stay on a skate board more easliy. They wont provide the support for your arch and the cushion for your heels that a normal tennis shoe would.

I think they're really comfy, but when you walk around for more than a couple hours, your feet and back start to get sore. So, if you're going for a walk, the shoes are great, but they're not the best shoes for long outings.

I don't think so...everytime I wear mine.. my toes hurt...I only wear my for certain occasions since the design is themed..I use regular standard tennie shoes most of the time with good support inside.

I have a pair, I don't wear them a lot, only if they match the outfit, I have. LOL

Walking around the mall, seems to work fine for me.
