I think the Opposite Attraction Theory is alive and well. You see, two loud-mouthed, either both males or both females, do not actually go together because of competition, while the laid-back fellow who meets a talkative one will just naturally click. So, the theory is very much alive and well. In your case, it would be nice if you open up a little to attract also some girls, not necessarily the loud-mouthed females! Interact more with good people and soon you'll meet the girl of your dreams who will be attracted to you. Good luck to you.

TO an extent.. I mean I wouldn't want to go out with some one love dot sit around all day and watch tv and drink beer.. Or was a diehard yankees fan. Thats the opposite of me and I think that you cant be the total same as your spouse or bf/gf but you have to have different interests too.

I thought it wasn't possible...why bother? Right...Wrong. I'm a Libra and my boyfriend is a Aries. Those two signs are complete opposites on the Zodiac table. It's true when we met I couldn't stand him but because we are complete opposites he showed me a whole other world that I never experienced and VisaVersa. It takes a lot of compromising and understanding; it's a lot of work but at the end of the day it's all worth it. I learn a lot and I teach him a lot; we have been together for 6 years and doesn't look like neither of us are going anywhere.

Yes I do, my husband and I are a firm example. We've been married for 35 years and we are as different as night and day. I'm an optimist and he's a pessimist. I always look for the good in things and people and he always looks for what's wrong. It takes so little to make me happy and I know of nothing that would make him happy. Do I recommend that you marry your opposite, probably not for a peaceful life?

It is a fundamental law of the universe that opposites attract.
yes in attraction some times there is a curve to it, it is not so simple as that for humans. but it still plays a fundamental roll in that one half will be more masculine wile the other is more feminine.

Yes,I wouldn't want a guy just like me,that wouldn't b fun. The opposite would be better, but we must like a lot of the same things.(Sports/music/games/walks alone the lake/people in general.)

Sort of.

It feels really good for a bf to have lots of things in common. That gets a conversation rolling! The "Yeah me too!" Sort of thing.

But when you guys are totally different, you can start to see different perspectives of life, and you understand. It also makes for really good conversation when you share your thoughts! Just hope it doesn't start an argument!

Usually it's what you have in common that attracts you to one another, and the differences that can be a welcoming addition or break the relationship.
