It's possible, when you cut a leaf in half, its aura remains intac for some time. That suggests that it is not dependent on the material, but that the material may be dependent on IT.

It's possible but not probable. Some people claim to be able to "see" auras. You cannot see a person's soul.

My thought is they're connected, but not the same. The aura, I'd opine, is hmmm more like a barometer, or similar 'measuring' device indicating the state of the physical part of our being.

A person's spirit is indestructible. It's really irrelevant to know exactly where it is, or what it looks like. Our flesh/mind/emotions are temporal and corruptible, our spirit is eternal.
