I think it was Bob Ross. He used to be my only cure for insomnia.

The late great Bob Ross. he died back in 1995. I love his show, trouble is it's now on at 4:30 in the morning. I have actually learnt how to paint watching his shows, but now, I have my own style.

I watched "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross a couple of days ago on some obscure satelite channel. He kept giving trees & bushes "little friends" to stop them getting lonely on the canvas.
Im sad to read he,s died.
"Bye - bye everyone, and God bless" with a little flutter of the fingers.

"Happy Little Things" Big Fro Bob Ross. I loved this guy. I liked his pet squirrel too. His paintings seemed to be done effortlessly. I know he's dead...but his paintings and videos will live on in my mind as if he is still with us.

Hi - As others have said, it was 'The Joy of Painting', and it was Bob Ross. His son has followed in his footsteps and also paints in the same style.
The 'big hair' was an 'Afro' ;-)
