The medium sized suitcase usually weighs around 15 kilos.
Your flight tickets will tell you what your allowance is.
If you are going of a package holiday: the usual allowances are:
15 kilos for 7 days:
25 Kilos for 14 days.
That's each passenger. I hope this helps.

The weight limits for each suitcase depend on the airline, and can also depend on the class you are flying (economy class, business class, first class) and the destination you are flying to. I recommend you to look at the baggage information given at the web pages of the airline you will fly with.

30 bags of sugar.... 1Kg = 2.2 Lb
If you take a trip to your local DIY the bags of sand and cement you see are 25 Kilo's...
You will need to pull that amount of weight on wheels if its your suitcase...

A kilo is about 2.2 pounds US, if that helps any. Its heavier than most women can lift, but most men can lift it.
