Encountered a holy spirit? No. You cannot see or feel a spirit, as defined in Luke 24:39b:

"...for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."

But I do know that the Holy Spirit dwells inside of me, as I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and I have accepted Him into my heart. Although I haven't actually seen the Holy Spirit, I have seen the fruit (consequences) of His dwelling inside of me and other Christians:

Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Yes.
I was born of the Spirit over 36 years ago.
I was baptized in the Holy Spirit about 3 1/2 years later.
I walk in the spirit day by day.

"While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?"
They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."
So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?"
"John's baptism," they replied.
Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus." On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied."

"So I (Jesus) say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

Luke 11:9-13

The Holy Spirit is given only through faith in the name of Jesus.
