Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is being sued in a Belgian court, holding him responsible for the 1982 massacres of 800 to 2,000 Palestinian civilians in Lebanese refugee camps, the daily Le Soir reported Saturday.
The plaintiffs in the suit against Sharon are a mix of Palestinians, Lebanese, Moroccans and Belgians grouped in an ad hoc committee.
They accuse Sharon of allowing Christian militias to slaughter between 800 and 2,000 Palestinian refugees at the Sabra and Shatila camps located in an area of Lebanon controlled by the Israeli military after Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon when Sharon was defense minister.

It's all a myth...political lies in the propaganda war.

You have the characters mixed up here. The Palestinians are the bad guys in this movie (terrorists who kill innocent people and instill this mentality in successive generations).

It doesn't, and now people are finally starting to see this conflict from a new perspective. the fact that the U.S. seems to be an unconditional "Friend of Israel" is absurd. We, of course will idly sit by unless WE have something to gain or lose, this conflict has been going on for decades, what could Palestinians have possibly done so differently this time, that would justify this? Nothing, but I will say that Israel is just following through with America's example of power and belief that bombing and killing many innocents is justified if we are targeting "terrorists". What is most shameful, is that of all groups Israel should be aware and sensitive of genocide, and that is exactly what is happening.

Atrocities are atrocities. You point the finger at Christians like we are the only ones who have committed them. Humans are greedy, power-hungry, imperfect beings. It's part of the human condition. There is evil in this world, and it transcends religion, race, ethnicity, and national boundaries.

The Nazi's were lead by a good Catholic boy named Adolph.
Muhammads' followers slaughters thousand of Jews by the end of the first millennium C.E.

The Romans slaughtered Jews and Christians alike; the Catholics martyred Bible Believing Christians; the Ottomans, Napoleon, Constantine, the Death Marches of WW I and WW II. The Spanish Inquisition, Northern Ireland, the Iran-Iraq War of 1980, Desert Storm, and now terrorists around the world vie for domination. Think of Darfur and southern Sudan. Did you know that it's the Muslim mercenaries who are trying to starve out the Christians of southern Sudan?

Murder is wrong, even though some religions may promise you 50 virgins in heaven for doing it.
I think the Israelis have been a lot more tolerant of the atmosphere of hatred they live in, than most cultures would be in the same circumstances.
Many of these counties you mention openly harbor groups who are dedicated to wiping Israel off the map. F@%*K the Belgian court.

Sharon is a Jew. How many Christians were killed by the Palestinians? After the Arabs supported the Nazi's in WW ll, they were subject to loss of their lands to the Allies as well as their property. They picked the wrong side to support in WW ll. All losers experience these things. Maybe the Arab men were hiding behind the women and children and shooting at the Jews and Christians.

If its true then i cant, and wouldnt want to, justify those acts. All i can say is, thats not the message of Christianity, which is all about loving others, treating them with respect, putting others before yourself.
Love in Christ

That's probably what brought on the first terrorist bombing on Americans. So, that's why they bombed us the first time. Sorry, don't mean to repeat myself. It's just it made a lump in my throat.
