Anyone familiar with these de-wormers for dogs?

These in particular: Panacur C, Nemex-2, or Nemex Tabs?

These in particular: Panacur C, Nemex-2, or Nemex Tabs? Also, Strongid? I don't want..."Oh take your dog to a vet!" I did that and they recomended several things and I'm trying to get user feedback.

Yes - all four are excellent for standard deworming and are safe with pups. I've had vets in the past that have used all of them. Another good one is Equi-Phar. It is for horses but is what my current vet uses for dogs (but NOT for horses ). None of these work well with tape worms, however.

I never understand the "go to the vet" types for deworming as they use the same products available through feed stores and pet stores and most will tell you what they use if you ask.

Yes, all are good OTC wormers, I have also used Safeguard which you can buy at Wal*mart, PetsMart etc but I buy it cheaper from K V Vet. It has to be given for 2 days in the food.Panacur, last time I used it, was given for 5 days in the food. If your dog is on a heartworm preventative wormers will not be needed unless your dog has fleas so gets tapeworms. Only stuff from a vet gets rid of tapes.

I've heard of Panacur. You will want to get your dewormer from your doctor. also you will probably want to consider a fecal check. Because that way if your dog has something like coccidia you will know and give them the right dewormer.

If your a smoker you don't have to buy a de-wormer, depending on the size of your dog take the tobacco from a cig. and put it in some wet food it will get rid of any worms they might have with the exception of heart worms

Small dog 1/2 cig.
Large dog 1 cig.
