I bought windows vista but people are telling me that many programs do not work on it. Is that true and please if it is can you name them or some. And does itunes work on windows vista? Thanks!

Yes it is true. About 90% of software is not compatable with VISTA. It is like playing a dvd in a cd player, wrong format. Check Apple.com, I think they have a Vista download on their site.

I just got a computer with vista on it and it's great. Most of your older programs may not work but that's because vista is so advanced. Any XP program released within the past year and a half should be compatible with Vista. So if your printer is less than two years old it should work with vista. Thats coming straight from what the tech guy at the computer store told me.

As for iTunes, I remember hearing that there was originally a problem but the newest version of iTunes is compatible with vista as I currently have it on my computer.

contact hp vista technical help support
they are very good and can even take over your computor and fix it step by step with you.
also hit help when you open any program and the answers are usually printed there.
