I have as of yet never met an IRS agent.
..... and yet I pay my taxes every year.... should I stop paying my taxes because the IRS might not exist?

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You are arguing illogically. If the creation of the entire universe with life on only one planet is too easy to be a godly endeavour, please feel free to do it yourself. The fact is we have no way of KNOWING what is or is not out there. Because of the immensity of it all, if we never find other life all that will prove is we haven't found it. It will not prove it does not exist. Similiarly, whether or not there is other life has no bearing on the proof or disproof of God's existence, and no, to wait for proof is the pervue of science, not faith. We will scientifically proclaim God or Martians exist when we get them in the lab and substantiate them independently from different sources. We believe in them when we have faith and no proof is necessary.

In order to make that claim, you'd have to examine all the millions of planets to conclusively prove there is not now (nor has there ever been) life on any of those other planets.
Man walked on the moon (not a planet, but still a heavenly body) and did not find signs of life.
The Mars Rover has searched portions of Mars, found signs of water and oxygen (Mars gets its red color from oxidized iron), but still no conclusive signs of life.
Which other heavenly bodies have we extensively explored for you to make such a broad assumption?
Besides, life on other planets would be used as atheists to prove that life on earth was just happenstance and disproves God.

I don't think your logic is sound. First of all, I believe there is life on other planets, but since it would take us an eternity to find it, there's no point in waiting for proof or disproof of that.
Anyway, think about the number of species on earth. By your logic we could conclude that there is no God by the fact that there are millions and millions of different species on earth but only one of them is sentient. Why would God "waste" so much life?

If there ISN'T life on other planets (but there is a God), one must logically conclude that life is supremely unimportant to that God, otherwise why confine it to one tiny lump of rock placed randomly in the a universe apparently "designed" as a black-hole generator?

Who said there is no life on other planets? Just because we haven't found evidence yet doesn't exclude the possibility.
It's estimated that there are 1 billion billion planets.
There could be 1,000 or 1,000,000 earths out there as far as we know. We've barely touched the tip of the iceberg in the exploration of our universe.

So you're saying you know that we're the only ones?
Even if we are the only ones, maybe God gave us the universe to wonder about. Plus, with life on every planet it would be Earth vs. Earth AND Earth vs. the universe. We couldn't possibly have peace with every planet.

Actually, I don't think this is the only planet with life. I think, in a universe as large as this, the chance of there being only one habitable planet are impossibly small.

ok....God "can't exist because so far there is only life on one planet".
If ...after a millions of dollars are spent "listening", let's say we keep it up for generations. Wouldn't that not be evidence of His existance after all? that in all of the universe, we only find life here? wouldn't that constitute a miracle in itself?
As for why are there millions of planets, for the same reason there are millions of flowers, millions of blades of grass. Because He could, as one more way of demonstrating to us how creative He can be when He creates.

no because just because no one has found life on other planets dosen't mean there isn't. maybe the creatures are more advanced than the intruments we use. and even if there is no life on other planets dosen't mean there is no god. how could you disregard all of the things and blessings you have because of one thing you don't understand.he has a master plan that only he knows so no one can really answer your question.

How do you know there's no life on other planets?
There are billions of galaxies each containing billions of stars.
We'll never know if there's intelligent life elsewhere or not. The universe is just too big. But some of us think it's too big for there NOT to be life somewhere else.
