Several months ago the news of the colony colapse came out and noted that several crops were in danger . (due to lack of pollination)
But no news since then !
Anyone know the current status of the crops ?
(LIke the almonds etc )
Also noticed price drops in honey . . . Does that mean there was a turnaround in hive population ?

Thanx for any info . . . Hey , I just noticed there is NO ag / country catagory on Yahoo Q&A ! Only urban catagories !
What is up with that ? (No legit cat for this Q !)

There is an Agriculture section under Science and Mathmatics. Try looking there too.

i read that too. bees not only make honey but also pollinate many things like some fruits and nuts. the disappearing bees could threaten these industries.
i think the prices of almonds, pistachios have gone up a little. don't know if it's related to this.

as for honey being cheaper, i think it's just because of more imports especially from australia.
i could be wrong.
